Took a weekend trip out to Gunma for the first time. More specifically, Takasaki. There was a lot more English than I expected, but the public transportation isn’t so great for tourism.

Used a bullet train for the first time since I moved to Japan and went to Osaka, Nara, Kyoto, and Kobe back in August. It was my first time in Nara and Kobe.

Back in May, I went to Ibaraki for the first time. Specifically I wanted to take pictures of nemophila in Hitachi Seaside park. I went the week after Golden Week, but I guess I arrived just a little bit after peak bloom as some of the flowers were starting to go and the grass was growing taller.
